CDC Dubbing
« on: 21/07/2023 at 11:03 »
After preparing CDC for hackles & wings I always had some leftover bits and pieces that weren't any use for anything, which I binned.

I now put these bits on the side and cut away the stalks later, putting the cuttings into a polygrip bag. it's amazing how quickly this builds up to a useful bag of CDC dubbing - and it really does make a very nice dubbing  :)

Great idea, I have used some of the left over feather fibres to make collars on nymphs before, but the dubbing sounds more useful.
