I subscribe to Fly Culture , T & S and Fly Fishing and Fly Tying - A combination of all 3 monthly would be great - but there again we are all individuals so different subjects interest different people.
I seem to have developed a knack for selling tackle to my father, safe in the knowledge that i'll get it back eventually. Knowing fine that he is likely to read this I trust that it inspires him to try to outlive me and if its any small way able to keep him around longer, then i'd happily let him buy all my gear with the exception of the first Abel i bought for myself in my early teens - he's not getting that

Bill wrote a belter of a book about the loch and its fishing. At its age it has to be out of date to a degree now, but some things don't shift all that much. It's well written and if you're interested in the loch as it was and the fishing at the time, getting a copy might be a good idea.
With the trout season over we must be entering the tying season (not that my tying really has a season), maybe we will see some more activity on this thread.
