Mike Heritage based in England Mike Heritage based in England

Mike Heritage - England

Mike Heritage is based in Ashford, Kent. Mike is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Master Fly Casting Instructor, that's a bit of a mouthful, so FFF MCI for short. Mike is on the committee of the British Fly Casting Club (BFCC) and has held various club distance records, he is very much 'hands on' at all the BFCC events throughout the UK and can always be found helping with tuition, tips and advice.

Mike's resurgent interest in fly casting was trying to blast a five weight fly line to the horizon! He still tries to do it, but since he decided to become an instructor he has developed a more rounded appreciation of all types of single-handed fly casting. It would be his pleasure to help you take your first steps on the fly casting ladder, or help you climb even higher by adding a few feet to your existing cast.

Mike was very much involved in the research and development process of the Barrio GT series fly lines, in fact at one stage these were going to be called the "MHD"!
